Olimkhontora Shokirkhontorayev was a public figure. He was the brother of Alikhantora Saghuni (1885, Tokmok - 1976, Tashkent), a famous cleric, military commander and public figure in Turkestan.
He was born in the city of Tokmok in the early 80s of the 19th century in the family of Ulama Shakirkhoja Haji. He spent his childhood among Uzbeks. He was brought up on the basis of the traditions of the rich culture of the Uzbek people formed over the centuries. Lived in Tokmok and Bolasogun. In addition to Bolasogun, he was highly respected among Uighurs and nomadic Kyrgyz.
He participated in the activities of the Turkestan Autonomous Government announced in November 1917. He was the member of the Turkestan National Assembly. After the overthrow of the autonomous government, he left Kokand and lived among cattle farmers.
According to Alikhontora Saghuni’s memoirs “The Sorrow of Turkistan”, 2-3 years after the Kokand tragedy, he became interested in the fate of his brother Olimkhontora. After his trip to Koshgar, he came to Kokand and Andijan from his place of residence - Bolasogun and Tokmok. Alikhontora met his brother Olimkhontora in the house of his relative Abdullahoji, who lived in his father’s neighborhood on the Khotanariq river in Andijan [1].
